President Joko Widodo Visits Kampung Jeruk In Karo, North Sumatra
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo visited Karo Regency, in a series of working visits for the third day in North Sumatra Province, Friday, February 4. Based on a written statement from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat, the Head of State took off using the Indonesian Air Force Super Puma Helicopter at around 08.35 WIB from Soewondo Air Base. , Medan City. Arriving at Kutambelin Village, Liang Melas Datas, Karo Regency, President Jokowi and his entourage went straight to Kampung Jeruk to conduct a road inspection as well as dialogue with citrus farmers. After that, President Jokowi will continue his journey to Langkat Regency by using a Super Puma Helicopter Indonesian Air Force.
In Langkat Regency, President Jokowi will inaugurate the Binjai-Stabat Toll Road which will be held at the Stabat Toll Gate, Stabat District. Friday prayers at the mosque around Binjai City, the President and his entourage will go directly to Soewondo Air Base, Medan City, to take off to Jakarta using the Indonesian Presidential Aircraft-1. Accompanying the President on this working visit is the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investments by Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno, Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, and North Sumatra Governor Edy Rahmayadi.
