2 Caucasians Who Admit Interpol Attacked Ukrainian Citizens In Kuta Bali Arrested
BADUNG - Bali Police Chief Inspector General Putu Jayan Danu Putra said that two of the five perpetrators who assaulted a Ukrainian citizen in Kuta, Badung Regency had been arrested.
"They have been secured, there are two in our investigation," said Inspector General Putu at Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali, Thursday, February 3.
However, the Bali Police Chief has not yet explained the identity of the perpetrators. Inspector General Putu emphasized that the attackers were not Interpol.
"Not the international police, they are here and there and the dispute is between them. We have handled it, hopefully it will be resolved in the near future," he added.
As of now, the case is still being investigated. Because the victims reported cases of abuse and beatings.
"We are still studying this, one reporting on abuse, one reporting on beatings," he said.
It was previously reported that a video of a group of foreign nationals (WNA) using a veil to assault a foreigner went viral on social media.
There were about five foreigners who abused a foreigner in the trunk of a car. The perpetrators are being chased by the police.
The Head of Criminal Investigation at the North Kuta Police, Iptu I Made Purwantara, confirmed that the incident occurred in the parking area of Luxury Lime Villas, Jalan Subak Sari, Banjar Tegal Gundul, Tibubeneng Village, North Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali.
"As a result of the incident, the victim suffered bruises on the left jaw and abrasions on the left knee," said Purwantara, Wednesday, February 2 night.
According to the chronology, at around 12.00 WITA, the witness named Cenly Elounora Musa Lalenoh and the victim went to the residence of the perpetrator named Volodymyr Kamisky (30) at the scene to ask for responsibility for the loss of the Honda PCX motorbike belonging to the witness which was rented by the perpetrator.
Then, the perpetrator did not want to be responsible for the loss of the motorbike and accused the witness of stealing the motorbike.
The perpetrator then called his friends and at 12.30 WITA. Four unidentified people claiming to be international police arrived in a black Fortuner without a license plate.
Moreover, they use rotators and sound the sirens and come to the villa. They immediately hit the victim and dragged her to the perpetrator's car. In the car the perpetrator tried to tie the victim.
"Based on the witness, the perpetrators forced the witness and victim into a car. The perpetrators (drove) towards Kediri, Tabanan, and held the victim in a place for about two hours.
