Ahead Of The Mandalika MotoGP, 500 Hotel Rooms In Karangasem Have Been Booked
KANGASEM - A total of 500 hotel rooms in Karangasem Regency, Bali, have been booked ahead of the Mandalika MotoGP motorcycle race in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
Chairman of the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI) Karangasem I Wayan Kariasa said there were 500 rooms that had been booked for the Moto GP event.
"Yes, there are 500 rooms. So the booking is not final yet, meaning that it has not been confirmed and this activity is handled by several travel agents," said Kariasa, Thursday, February 3.
According to him, a number of travel agents made a complete package in the Mandalika MotoGP event for the audience. The package includes booking a room, transportation, eating and getting a Moto GP ticket.
"So they make room packages as well as transportation to eat and watch it," he added.
In this package, MotoGP spectators can stay in hotel rooms in Bali. Later they will take a fast boat when they go to Lombok.
"Because it's the fastest to go to the fast boat in Padangbai. So, they take the fast boat every day, it's only 1.5 hours from here. So (the package) has been made for them to stay for three nights," he said.
"That includes fast boat tickets, meals, as well as entrance tickets for the GP motorbike. The package is prepared and this travel agent makes room reservations at hotels, only until now it has only been ordered but not yet final. Maybe the final is about a week before MotoGP starts, ' said Karias.
