Rano Karno Hints That There Will Be A 4th Si Doel Film After Colorless Rainbow

JAKARTA - The Rainbow Without Color film presents an eternal couple on screen, Rano Karno and Maudy Koesnaedi. These two couples are very attached to the hearts of Indonesian film lovers, through the soap opera and film Si Doel.

The Rainbow Without Color film itself tells the story of a husband and wife couple, Ferdi (Rano Karno) and Kirana (Maudy Koesnaedi) whose household experiences great shocks due to Kirana's Alzheimer's disease.

Rano Karno also said that this film directed by Indra Gunawan can be used as a longing cure for fans of Si Doel and Zaenab, although the story is much different from the story of Doel and Zaenab.

"This is how Doel and Zaenab's roles cannot be replaced with Ferdi and Kirana, we have already talked about different meanings and worlds. Because even though we are the ones who play, it's very different. But hopefully, this can be a pain reliever for Si Doel and Zaenab fans, " he said some time ago.

Rano revealed, this film can be used as a bridge to the 4th Si Doel film. "Is this a way to wait a bit, yes, I can. I don't talk about many audiences, but many are fanatics, and yes, let them see my acting with Maudy who is here," he said.

Apart from Rano Karno and Maudy Koesnaedi, the film, which will be shown in Indonesian cinemas on February 17, 2022, also stars Zayyan Sakha and Ratna Riantiarno.
