KPK Explores Fees For Langkat Regent Issues Warring Angin Plan To Win Project

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating the granting of a fee to the non-active Langkat Regent Publishing the Warring Angin Plan by the private sector to obtain the project. This investigation was carried out by examining three witnesses.

The three witnesses examined were the Director of CV Sasaki, Riki Sapariza and two other entrepreneurs, namely Ananda Agustri and Daniel. The examination was carried out today at the Ditreskrimsus Polda North Sumatra.

"The witnesses were present and confirmed, among others, related to the project work being carried out by the witnesses and the alleged provision of a fee in the form of money for the TRP suspect because of the arrangement for the winner of the project implementer," Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Affairs Ali Fikri told reporters, Monday, 31 January.

In fact, investigators have also scheduled an examination of the Head of Binamarga of the Langkat Regency Public Works Service, Deni Turio and the Director of CV Salsa, Lead Sitepu. It's just that, Ali said, both of them were not present and will be rescheduled

"He did not attend and then immediately called again," he said.

As previously reported, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has named the Langkat Regent Publishing a Plan for Warring Angin as a suspect in bribery related to infrastructure projects. This determination was made after the KPK held the OTT on Tuesday, January 18.

He was named along with four other suspects, namely the Village Head of Balai Kasih who is the brother of Terbit Plan, Iskandar PA; and three private persons or contractors, namely Marcos Surya Abdi, Shuhandra Citra, and Isfi Syahfitra. Then as a bribe giver is Muara Warin Angin which is a private party or contractor.

In this case, the KPK suspects that Terbit managed the implementation of the infrastructure work project package in Langkat Regency.

In addition, he also ordered his subordinates to actively coordinate with his brother, Iskandar, who was his representative to select the contractors who won the work packages at the PUPR Service and the Education Office.
