New Character In The Batman Revealed Again
JAKARTA - Jayme Lawson, a graduate of The Julliard School New York, joined the ranks of the cast in Matt Reeves' The Batman. What character will he play?
Launching Heroic Hollywood, Tuesday, November 12, Lawson will play Bella, a grassroots political candidate running for office in Gotham.
Further details about Lawson's role in The Batman remain hidden. But this role is described as a substantial character for the film starring Robert Pattinson.
Based on Bella's character description, it seems that political competition will be part of the story of The Batman, which is expected to be able to explore Bruce Wayne's character in the early stages of becoming the Caped Crusader.
Some have previously speculated that Lawson will play Barbara Gordon / Batgirl, the daughter of Commissioner Gordon, played by Westworld star Jeffrey Wright. However, the description above indirectly eliminates these speculations.
As for the plans regarding the Batman family members for this film remains a mystery, leaving the film's future open to more possibilities.
Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, The Batman also features Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, and Paul Dano as Riddler.
The Batman releases in theaters on June 25, 2021.
