A Lot Of Cooking Oil Stock Is Rp. 14 Thousand, Airlangga Hartarto Advises Peruvian People Not To Worry
JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto asked the public not to worry about running out of cooking oil using the highest retail price (HET) because there are lots of stocks.
"The price as of February 1, 2022, which is set by the government at IDR 14,000 per liter for premium ones, IDR 13,500 for simple 'packing', and IDR 11,500 for bulk, is expected to continue to be distributed. So there's plenty of stock, no need to be afraid of running out of stock. ," said Airlangga in Semarang, Sunday as quoted by Antara.
The man who also serves as the General Chair of the Golkar Party said that the price of cooking oil in the market will decrease gradually after the implementation of the one-price policy of Rp. 14,000 per liter.
"It will be done in stages, as of February 1, it will be rolled out. Yes, this is all in stages, and it is hoped that some will be able to do it tomorrow. Yes, of course they will 'finish' the stock, then start with new stock," he said, who is also the builder of the SME business group.
According to Airlangga, with the determination of the policy on the highest retail price for cooking oil, people are expected to not have to fight over it, which will create stock shortages.
This was conveyed by Airlangga after talking with dozens of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Semarang City who are members of the SME Business Group.
The MSME players who attended the event admitted that they really hoped that affordable cooking oil prices could actually be on the market because previously, although there was a policy of subsidized cooking oil of Rp. 14,000 per liter, but it was difficult to obtain in the market.
