Amien Rais' Party Logo: There Are Straight Lines, Not Mencla-Mencle
JAKARTA - The declarator of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Amien Rais is reportedly working on a new party. Then what about the symbol of this party?
One of Amien Rais' supporters, Chandra Tirta Wijaya, gave a leak of the party's logo. He said the party's logo would not be much different from the PAN logo. But there are some striking differences to differentiate it from PAN because there are additions and subtractions.
"The logo has a sun and a straight line. Now we turn, mangle. There is a straight line because, we are all perpendicular, istikamah. Then, the light (line) can be 9, could be 13 or could be 5. But it has not been decided yet. "For sure there will be surprises. But still, the color must be blue," he said during a conversation with VOI, Tuesday, September 1.
At the same place, Agung Mozin said, this party had been well prepared. He said that the party's declaration, which would later be called PAN Reformasi, would be as early as December or at the latest in January 2021. The plan is for this declaration to be held in Jakarta.
He admitted that Amien was appointed to prepare the party's declaration. Agung prepared a declaration for the party that would be called PAN Reformasi together with Putra Jaya Husin and Chandra Tirta Wijaya.
The party, he continued, already has representatives in 34 provinces and 380 districts / cities. He also confirmed that 70 percent of PAN cadres will move to PAN Reformasi.
"We are forming a party, we are not new to the party, are we. The network in our party has already been established, especially with Putra Jaya Husin, Chandra Tirta Wijaya, all of which are all workaholics," told VOI, Tuesday, September 1.
"And, we are ready, God willing. Safe. We can't make a declaration if we are not ready," he said.
Meanwhile, as reported by pan.or.id, the party's logo is a bright white sun on a blue background with PAN writing below it, symbolizing that the National Mandate Party brings a new enlightenment towards a better future for Indonesia.
The meaning of this logo, among others, is for the symbol of the sun which shines brightly, reflecting that the sun is a source of light, a source of life. Then, the white color is an expression of truth, justice and new spirit. Meanwhile, light rays are a reflection of diversity. Finally, the dark blue square is a reflection of the sea and sky that reflects independence and democracy.
