Crypto Cardano Explores Cooperation With Burundi Government

Cardano forms partnership with the government of Burundi (Cryptotechinfos)

JAKARTA - Cardano continues to collaborate with a number of governments in Africa. Most recently, Cardano (ADA) founder Charles Hoskinson confirmed that he signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Burundian government.

The exploration of cooperation is a major initial agreement that Hoskinson has obtained since his side embarked on a tour of Africa in mid-October 2021. Hoskinson posted a photo of himself and the Burundian leader during the signing of the partnership on Twitter.

Launching Bitcoin.com News, before visiting Burundi, Hoskinson first visited Zanzibar and held a meeting with President Hussein Ali Mwinyi. Hoskinson's visit to Burundi has helped Cardano reach his latest major deal with the African nation following Cardano's deal with Ethiopia in April 2021.

"Yes, we signed a great MoU today," Hoskinson wrote in a Twitter post.

Hoskinson also briefly replaced his Twitter profile photo with a photo of himself with the President of Burundi, Evariste Ndhayishimiye.

“Great meeting with His Excellency President Evariste Ndayishimiye about the future of Burundi's digital transformation,” said the Cardano boss.

However, it is not yet known what kind of cooperation the two sides are exploring. However, as with ADA's collaboration with Ethiopia, the possibility of this partnership cannot be separated from education.

At the time of writing, the price of ADA was traded at the level of Rp28,373, a decline of 0.5 percent in the last 24 hours. ADA ranks in the top five cryptocurrencies by market cap, behind Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance Coin, and Tether.
