JAKARTA - Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison collaborates with Adobe and the Ministry of Creative Economy (Kemenekraf) to support the Indonesian people in turning creativity into opportunities through the use of technology and artificial intelligence (AI).
This step comes as an empowerment program by combining national reach and initiatives for young people from Indosat, creative tools, curriculum, and AI-based monetization program for new creators from Adobe, as well as the commitment of the Ministry of Creative Economy in strengthening the Indonesian creative economy ecosystem.
Teuku Riefky Harsya, Minister of Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, said that this partnership is an important example of how the government and industry can collaborate to equip young people with confidence and a sense of responsibility to be able to compete globally.
"We invite creators across the Kemenekraf network to join this initiative and turn Indonesian ideas into impactful works, valuable intellectual property, and sustainable economic growth," added Menkraf Riefky.
The collaboration between Indosat and Adobe also reflects the spirit of ECHOES (Ekraf Creates Harmony on Education Sector), or the Ekraf Goes to School and Campus program, an initiative from the Ministry of Creative Economy to encourage the improvement of literacy in creative economy, the adoption of technology and AI, and the development of skills that are relevant to industry needs.
This synergy is expected to open more opportunities for creators to hone their creativity, produce meaningful and valuable works, and develop into creative talents who are able to compete at the national and global levels.
"Indonesia has abundant talent and creativity. What is needed today is access to the right tools, skills, and opportunities to realize their ideas. By combining the power of AI, creativity, and collaboration, we want to help the next generation of creators maximize their potential," said President Director and Chief Executive Officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Vikram Sinha.
Meanwhile, President of Creativity & Productivity Business Adobe, David Wadhwani, said he was proud to support Indonesian creators by bringing Adobe Express to more people.
Adobe is committed to providing a curriculum to hone skills, as well as paving the way for them to earn an income from the work they create.
Through this collaboration, Indosat will provide free premium access to Adobe Express, an application for quickly creating anything, for six months to all customers.
Adobe and Indosat also prepare practical learning videos from Adobe Digital Academy which have been translated into Indonesian for Indosat customers.
Indosat, Kemenekraf, and Adobe are exploring ways to connect ECHOES participants with various Adobe creative and learning devices through Indosat's GENSi initiative.
These devices and training are expected to help participants develop skills in digital storytelling, design, visual communication, and content creation, as well as deepen their understanding of turning creativity into value-added works, opening up opportunities for collaboration, and generating economic benefits in the future.
