JAKARTA - Alibaba Group officially launched Wukong, the latest AI-native platform designed to bring agent capabilities into the enterprise work environment.
This platform is able to coordinate various AI agents to handle complex tasks in a single interface (single interface), while being supported by an enterprise-grade security infrastructure that makes it a relevant productivity solution for business needs.
The launch of Wukong is also part of Alibaba Group's strategic move following the restructuring and establishment of a new business unit, the Alibaba Token Hub (ATH) Business Group.
As a flagship AI platform developed by the Wukong Business Unit under the umbrella of ATH, Wukong's presence reflects Alibaba's commitment to accelerating the adoption of AI agents in the enterprise sector.
Currently, Wukong is available in a limited beta testing phase based on invitations. The platform can be downloaded as a standalone desktop application or accessed through the latest version of DingTalk.
Wukong is able to operate local computers, browsers, to cloud-based systems, as well as coordinating various agents to complete tasks such as document processing, spreadsheet updates, approval form processing, meeting transcription, and deep research.
In the future, Wukong is also planned to be integrated with other communication platforms such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, and WeChat, so that it can be used more widely on various devices, including mobile.
In terms of security, this platform is equipped with identity authentication, access control, and a dedicated enterprise sandbox designed to meet the needs of business environments with high security standards.
Not only that, Alibaba's e-commerce and technology ecosystems - including Taobao, Tmall, 1688, Alipay, and Alibaba Cloud - will also be gradually integrated into Wukong as agent skills modules, along with integration support from third parties.
With this approach, Wukong can be used for various business needs - from e-commerce management, supplier management, payment processing, to cloud infrastructure management.
