JAKARTA - Cloudflare, Inc. announced its new partnership with Mastercard Incorporated, in developing tools to help small businesses, critical infrastructure, and governments protect themselves from cyber threats.

The ability to monitor the surface of attacks with Recorded Future and RiskRecon from Mastercard, combined with Cloudflare's Application Security portfolio, will allow millions of organizations to survive the risks posed by the increasing interconnection in the digital world.

"As the global society and economy become increasingly dependent on digital networks, we must combine our efforts across public and private sectors, to build resilience and prevent cyber incidents," said Dan Cimpean, Director of the Romanian National Cyber Security Directorate.

Cloudflare and Mastercard intend to help protect small businesses, critical infrastructure, and governments by:

Eliminating blind spots: Users will be able to monitor their digital presence by discovering domains connected to the internet or software solutions running on the web through Recorded Future.

Provide accurate and real-time cyber posture views: Companies will have access to their comprehensive and continuously updated cyber posture views, with support from Recorded Future.

Translate risk insights into actionable protection: Organizations will have the ability to activate security controls - such as web application firewalls, encryption, or automated defenses - to mitigate risks identified through the Cloudflare dashboard.

"This partnership brings together the best capabilities in cyber defense so that underserved organizations do not fall victim to the increasing number of cyber attacks," added Stephanie Cohen, chief strategy officer at Cloudflare.
