Google introduced its latest A series phone, the Pixel 10a. This device comes with an updated camera system and more Artificial Intelligence (AI) based features.
The Pixel 10a uses a 6.3-inch Actua screen with a brightness level 11 percent higher than the previous generation. The phone's screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i glass which is claimed to be more resistant to scratches.
For performance, the Pixel 10a is powered by Google's Tensor G4 process. This processor is designed to support Gemini and can run various other AI functions such as Gemini Live or Nano Banana's photo editing feature.
On the A line this time, Google offers a 48MP main lens and a 13MP ultrawide camera on the back. Google also includes a Macro Focus feature and AI-based tools such as Auto Best Take to optimize group photo results.
Google says that this device is capable of lasting more than 30 hours in normal use or up to 120 hours in extreme saving mode. Charging speed has also improved compared to the Pixel 9a.
"The charging speed of the cable is based on the use of the Google 45W USB-C Charger plugged into a wall outlet. The actual result may be slower," Google explained in its release, quoted on Thursday, February 19.
This year, Google finally brought the SOS Satellite security feature to the A series. This feature is available to help users in emergency conditions without a signal. In addition, this phone also guarantees seven years of OS and security update support.
The Quick Share feature has also undergone a major improvement in the Pixel 10a series. The quick media sharing feature can now be connected to AirDrop, a media sharing feature designed specifically for the Apple ecosystem.
