JAKARTA - The game development studio Double Fine Productions and Xbox Game Studios publisher announced their latest title, Kiln, will be released this spring.

Kiln is a multiplayer online game in the party brawler genre with a unique concept, where you will see fights between characters wearing armor made of ceramics or clay crafts made by the player themselves.

Each combination of ceramics will present unique abilities, including throwing pies at enemies or turning into explosives to throw into the battlefield.

Kiln has a main game mode called Quench, which is a 4v4 battle where two teams try to collect water to extinguish the opponent's furnace (kiln).

Each map has a different design, shortcuts, and strategies that require teamwork, speed, and offensive and defensive tactics.

Double Fine is also opening a beta testing program for players who want to try Kiln early, as well as helping test the game. When it launches, the game will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, Steam, and PlayStation 5.
