JAKARTA - Stoic developer together with Xbox Game Studios Publishing announced that its cooperative RPG action game, Towerborne, will officially be released in full on February 26, 2026.

In its announcement, the developer revealed that this launch will be accompanied by a major update to version 1.0 that will bring fundamental changes to the game concept.

The game will be available to play on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store, priced at $24.99 (Rp419 thousand) for the Standard edition, and $29.99 (Rp503 thousand) for the Deluxe edition.

"This game wouldn't be what it is without our community. The input, ideas, and dedication of the players shaped Towerborne to be ready for full release," said Stoic CEO and President Trisha Stouffer.

The full version update presents a complete story with a final narrative flow, the main antagonist, new side missions, and a revamp of the Bounty Board system.

In addition, the Stoic developer also added two new bosses, including the main boss, along with lieutenant and umbra type enemies.

In terms of gameplay, Towerborne gets a completely revamped new difficulty system, including a "Brutal" mode for experienced players.

The world map has also been updated with the addition of coastal biomes, as well as a new Forge system that allows players to modify, improve, and rearrange equipment stats.

"We've added new gear and player abilities, a new Forge system with the ability to modify, upgrade, and reroll stats," he continued.

Not to forget, this update also presents new music from renowned composer Austin Wintory, quality of life improvements, bug fixes, and the removal of the cosmetic purchase system.

Stoic emphasized that the full release of Towerborne marks a new chapter for the game and its community, with a focus on a more player-friendly and accessible experience.
