JAKARTA - Mammotion officially introduced its latest line of robotic lawnmowers at the CES 2026 event, led by the flagship model Mammotion LUBA 3 AWD. This device marks a serious leap in automatic lawn care technology by combining LiDAR, RTK, and AI Vision in a single high-precision navigation system without a limiting cable.

LUBA 3 AWD is the first robotic lawn mower engine that combines all three technologies simultaneously. This device is equipped with Mammotion's latest Tri-Fusion Navigation system, which is designed to produce very accurate area mapping and movement in various terrain conditions. This product will be available for pre-order on January 5 with prices starting at 2,399 US dollars or around Rp. 40.1 million for the European, British, and North American markets.

The most striking improvement comes through full 360-degree LiDAR coverage, with a vertical scanning angle of 59 degrees and a range of up to about 100 meters. This technology allows LUBA 3 AWD to build a 3D map in real time, from the ground surface to high objects such as trees, with a level of precision of about ±1 centimeter from millions of data points.

In addition, Mammotion embeds a NetRTK system that eliminates the need for boundary cables and separate RTK stations. Users simply set the area limit through the application, then the machine can immediately work. This approach makes installation much simpler and more flexible, especially for pages with complex designs.

In terms of artificial intelligence, LUBA 3 AWD is equipped with two cameras and an AI chip with 10 TOPS power for object recognition and stereoscopic depth perception. This combination allows the engine to calculate the safest and most efficient path in real time, while avoiding obstacles with more precision.

For performance, the engine has a 15.8-inch cutting width, two 165W high-torque motors, and two discs with six blades each. Mammotion claims the LUBA 3 AWD is capable of cutting up to about 7,000 square feet per hour and covers an area of up to 1.75 acres per day, supported by a large-capacity battery of up to 15Ah and an all-wheel-drive system.

Mammotion CEO, Jayden Wei, stated that the company entered 2026 with a more focused product portfolio. According to him, every page needs the right technology, not just more technology. This statement reflects Mammotion's strategy, which now targets precision and efficiency as the main selling point.

In addition to the LUBA 3 AWD, Mammotion also announced two new compact models, namely the LUBA mini 2 AWD and YUKA mini 2, to reach smaller yard sizes. The price of the LUBA mini 2 AWD is pegged starting at 1,499 euros, while the price of the YUKA mini 2 has not been announced.

With a combination of AI, LiDAR, and a wireless system, the Mammotion LUBA 3 AWD shows that the lawn mower is no longer just a smart household appliance, but a serious autonomous machine. In 2026, the lawn business seems to be handled by algorithms, not human labor.
