Honor Magic 8 Pro Air Starts to be Teased, Leaks of Specifications and Launch Time Appear

JAKARTA - Honor is confirmed to launch the Honor Power 2 on January 8, 2026. The phone will be powered by the Dimensity 8500 Elite chipset and equipped with a jumbo battery with a capacity of 10,080 mAh. Ahead of the launch, Honor also began teasing the presence of a new phone from the Magic 8 line which is expected to be introduced in the near future.

The latest teaser shared by Honor President Fangfei, via Weibo, features the words "Pro" and "Air". This indicates that Honor is preparing a new phone with these two labels. Although the official name has not been confirmed, the device is suspected to be named Honor Magic 8 Pro Air or Magic 8 Air.

Honor Magic 8 Pro Air Specifications Leaked

According to information from tipster Experience More, the Honor Magic 8 Pro Air will come as a compact phone with a very thin design. This device is said to carry a screen measuring 6.31 inches.

Previous leaks said the screen is an LTPO OLED panel with a 1,5K resolution that comes with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor inside the screen. In terms of performance, the Honor Magic 8 Pro Air is rumored to be powered by the Dimensity 9500 chipset.

For power, the phone is said to carry a 5,500 mAh battery with 80-watt fast charging support. Camera details are still confidential, but as part of the Magic 8 series, this device is expected to offer capable photography capabilities.

Honor Magic 8 Pro Air is also rumored to run MagicOS 10 and use a metal frame to increase durability.

Estimated Launch Time

The same leak mentions that the Honor Magic 8 Pro Air will be launched in China in the next few days. If the information is accurate, Honor will likely start releasing teaser designs for this device after the launch of the Honor Power 2.

In addition, this phone is rumored to be available in several color options, including Feather White, Shadow Black, Light Orange, and Fairy Purple.
