JAKARTA Samsung is rumored to be increasing the charging speed of its flagship phones through the launch of the Galaxy S26 series. This increase can be seen in the latest code leaks.

As found by the Android Authority, Samsung will introduce the branding Super Fast Charging 3.0. This cable charging branding is rumored to have PPS 60W power, specifically for the Galaxy S26 Ultra model.

In addition to wired charging, Samsung is also developing faster wireless charging. This can be seen in the latest One UI software code showing a new branding.

The latest version of the Samsung One UI 8.5 now includes a new set of codes for wireless charging. The code specifically mentions the code Super fast wireless charging: %d%.

Previously, signs of fast wireless charging usually appeared at 15W charging. The appearance of this new Super fast wireless charging string indicates a higher rate of speed than 15W.

The Galaxy S20 series is Samsung's first flagship to support 15W wireless charging. Since then, all Galaxy S flagships have continued to offer 15W speeds despite many competitors offering 50W to 80W speeds.

With the Galaxy S26 series, Samsung will finally officially increase its wireless charging speed. The standard models Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus are expected to be increased to 20W.

Meanwhile, the premium Galaxy S26 Ultra model can be increased to 25W wireless charging. This speed increase is claimed to reduce wireless charging time by up to 40 percent.
