JAKARTA Xiaomi is expected to release its newest flagship cellphone, namely Xiaomi 17 Ultra, at the end of December in China. Reportedly, this phone will come with an upgrade in the Leica lens section

This latest leak comes from Smart Pikachu. Launching from Gizmochina, this latest device will offer an updated Leica lens layer. This update will bring a major improvement to the camera's capabilities.

The latest Leica lens is designed to repair optical defects while improving image clarity. With this improvement, Leica also left an optical problem to her own optical part to ensure color fidelity.

Sources also emphasize that Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be very focused on optical purity. This latest Leica layer will significantly increase light transmission and minimize silau and ghosting without relying too much on software processing.

In addition to the lens layer, the camera array will also change. Xiaomi 17 Ultra is expected to change the four camera settings and switch to a three-lens system. This arrangement promises a more versatile photography experience.

The three-lens system is expected to include a 50MP 1-inch main sensor, namely OmniVision OV50X. This sensor will be paired with a 200MP periscope telephoto lens. The 50MP ultra-wide camera will complement this premium camera configuration.

To support complex image processing, Xiaomi 17 Ultra is likely to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Other leaks also show an increase in batteries ranging from 6,000 mAh to 7,000 mAh.
