JAKARTA - OpenAI is expected to reach 220 million ChatGPT paid subscribers by 2030, a drastic increase from around 35 million subscribers by July 2025, according to the company's internal projections.

OpenAI projects that by 2030, of the 2.6 billion weekly active users, about 8.5% will subscribe to paid services rising from the current conversion of around 5% on average.
