JAKATYA - Samsung appears to be getting closer to the launch of the Galaxy A57, after the device reappeared on the benchmark list. Having previously been spotted on Samsung's internal testing server earlier this month, the Galaxy A57 has now appeared on Geekbench with the new chipset Exynos 1680.
According to Geekbench's list, the Galaxy A57 is confirmed to use the Exynos 1680, the successor to the Exynos 1580 used in the Galaxy A56 last year. At Geekbench 6.5 on Android, this device recorded a score:
Single-core: 1,311
Multi-core: 4,347
This shows an increase in performance, although not extremely.

More interestingly, these benchmarks reveal changes to the CPU core structure. The Exynos 1680 still maintains a clock speed similar to its predecessor, but with an overhauled core configuration:
1 Prime core @ to 2.91GHz
4 Performance cores @ to 2.6GHz
3 Efficiency cores @ to 1.95GHz
When compared to Exynos 1580:
There is 1 more performance core,
And 1 core efficiency is less.
This means that the Exynos 1680 is likely to offer a higher sustainable performance, although it may sacrifice a little bit of power efficiency. However, how it performs in real use still has to be tested. The tested Galaxy A57 unit also has 12GB RAM and runs Android 16.
This latest Geekbench entry continued the previous leak in August which only revealed the OpenCL score, which focuses more on graphics performance.
Samsung has not disclosed details about the design, camera, battery, or other features. However, it is almost certain that Samsung will maintain the standard series A:
AMOLED Screen
Refresh rate 120Hz
5,000mAh Battery
The Samsung Galaxy A57 is predicted to be released around March 2026.
