JAKARTA - Microsoft and NVIDIA announced that they have agreed to invest up to 10 billion US dollars (Rp167.37 trillion) and US$5 billion (Rp83.69 trillion) in Anthropic, respectively.
This large investment is part of a new strategic partnership between Microsoft, NVIDIA, and Anthropic to expand the development and distribution of the AI model Claude in Azure and strengthen large-scale generative computing infrastructure.
Anthropic has also committed to purchasing Azure's computing capacity of 30 billion US dollars (Rp502 trillion) and signing an additional computing capacity of up to one gigawatt.
This is the first time NVIDIA and Anthropic have established an in-depth technology partnership to support Anthropic's future growth.
Anthropic and NVIDIA will collaborate in design and engineering, with the aim of optimizing the Anthropic model for the best performance, efficiency and TCO, as well as optimizing NVIDIA architecture in the future for Anthropic's workload.
