JAKARTA Snapchat introduced Imagine Lens, a new feature that is the first Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Lens equipped with image-generating capabilities.
This feature is now available to all users for free, but only for users in the US. Before it was available for free, the AI Lens was only available to users who subscribed to Snapchat Platinum and Lens+.
With this expansion, users are now editing their Snap content using a special command. For example, users can take photos and use prompts like 'my turn into aliens' to modify their selfies.
Users can also ask the application to create new images, for example by entering the 'hotcat' prompt. In addition, this feature can also be used to imagine their friends with a funny and unique new look.

The creations of Imagine Lens can be shared directly with friends via private messages. All the images produced can also be posted to Stories tab on Snapchat or shared outside the app.
While using this feature, free users will still get a limit in creating AI images. That way, users can still consider switching to paid packages.
For now, Snap is only focused on launching for users in the US. In the near future, this new capability will be extended to other markets, including Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia.
The English, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, and French versions are automatically generated by the AI. So there may still be inaccuracies in translating, please always see Indonesian as our main language. (system supported by DigitalSiber.id)
