Nubia Z80 Ultra Has A Battery Of 7,200mAh In A 7.8mm Thin Body

JAKARTA - Nubia is among the brands preparing to launch the latest smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. This line of phones includes the Red Magic 11 Pro and Nubia Z80 Ultra series.

One of the main highlights of the Nubia flagship line is the no-tactic (notch-less) design that offers a true full-screen experience, thanks to the use of the under-screen camera (under-display camera). In addition, the two upcoming flagships are expected to come with large batteries.

According to the latest report, the Red Magic 11 Pro series will be the only Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 powered phone that has a massive battery with a capacity of 8,000mAh. Now, a new leak from Weibo reveals that the Nubia Z80 Ultra will pack a sizable battery, which is 7,200mAh.

Despite hosting such a large battery, Nubia Z80 Ultra will retain an impressive design profile, with a thickness of only 7.8mm and a weight of about 225 grams. The phone will also support 90W fast charging and has wireless charging capabilities.

Specifications for Nubia Z80 Ultra (Rumor)

Reports indicate that Nubia Z80 Ultra will come with RAM up to 16GB and run Android 16 based on the AIOS Nebula. The screen is said to be a 144Hz flat AMOLED with 1.5K resolution, promising a smooth and immersive visual experience.

For photography, this device is estimated to include a 50-megapixel main camera with a focus length of 35mm, a 50-megapixel 1/1.55-inch ultra-wide camera, and a telephoto OmniVision OV64B periscope lens. On the front, this phone will likely house a 16-megapixel selfie camera below the screen, keeping the screen full aesthetics full.

The Red Magic 11 Pro series is scheduled to launch on October 17 in China, while the Nubia Z80 Ultra is expected to officially launch on October 22. The Z80 Ultra will be available in several color options, such as the Phantom Black, Glacial White, and the Starry Collector's Edition variant.
