Meta Brings Five Big Breakthroughs On Connect 2025, From Glasses To Quest Unique Features

JAKARTA Meta has held a Connect 2025 event to announce its latest technological innovations. At the event, there were many sophisticated devices that the company introduced.

Meta Ray-Ban Display

The most notable announcement at the event was the launch of Meta Ray-Ban Display. These glasses are a major improvement over regular Ray-Ban smart glasses because they are equipped with a full-color screen on the part of his right lens.

With this screen, users can view messages, receive calls, and view photos previews directly on the glasses screen. To control the screen, the user needs a smart bracelet.

Meta also introduces second-generation Ray-Ban smart glasses. This model has a significant increase with battery life of up to eight hours. These glasses can also record 3K videos at 60 frames per second.

Oakley Meta Vanguard

There is also a new product from collaboration with Oakley called Oakley Meta Vanguard. These glasses are specially designed for athletes and have an IP67 rating. These glasses are integrated with popular fitness apps such as Garmin and Strava.

Hyperscape in Quest

For Quest headset users, Meta is now presenting the Hyperscape feature. This feature allows users to scan their physical environment and convert it into a digital space. This will bring the virtual reality experience to a more immersive level.

Horizon TV

Meta also presents a new entertainment center called Horizon TV on the Quest headset. Users can access various streaming applications such as Prime Video and YouTube. Meta also announced that Disney Plus, ESPN, and Hulu will be coming soon on this platform.

Some of the films shown on Horizon TV will also be equipped with immersive special effects that can only be seen in Quest headsets. This feature is designed to provide a unique viewing experience.
