JAKARTA - The Indonesian government and the government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), launched a joint program to produce 10 million talent colliders in the next three years.
Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs, Nezar Patria, emphasized that this program is a follow-up to the collaboration between Indonesia and the UAE in the digital sector.
"Today we are launching a collaboration to strengthen the capacity of digital talent, especially digital literacy programs by educating 10 million coders for the younger generation of Indonesia. This will be done over the next three years," Nezar said in a statement.
Through this program, he hopes to be able to improve the capabilities and capacity of national young talents, not only as technology users, but also technology creators, especially artificial intelligence (AI).
"This collaboration aims to strengthen national digital talent so that it is not only as a user, but is expected to increase into new technology developers such as artificial intelligence (AI)," he said.
Meanwhile, Deputy Minister for Cabinet Affairs of the UAE for Competitiveness and Exchange of Knowledge, Abdulla Nasser Lootah, stressed that the 10 million coder program is a major milestone in the cooperation of the two countries.
