JAKARTA - The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs officially signed a Joint Decree (SKB) on the Implementation of Medical Personnel and Health Workers Licensing in Regencies/Cities through the National Digital Public Service Mall (MPPDN).
The signing was carried out with several other Ministries and Institutions, including the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform, the Ministry of Home Affairs, as well as the Head of the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN).
On this occasion, Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs, Nezar Patria, emphasized that digitizing public services is a real step towards a more efficient and transparent bureaucracy.
"When we talk about digitizing public services, the challenges are always the same. Too many data applications are spread and systems are not connected. Today we prove there is a better breakthrough through the National Digital Public Service Mall or MPPDN," said Nezar on Tuesday, September 9 in Jakarta.
MPPDN itself was initiated by the PAN-RB Ministry, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, to carry out the process of issuing a Practice Permit for medical and health personnel.

Through the presence of MPPDN 2.0, Nezar said, the government is committed to simplifying licensing for medical personnel and health workers in all regions online, reducing differences in regulations between regions, as well as accelerating services.
"MPPDN 2.0 opens the way for the implementation of digital licensing for medical personnel and health workers. That way, there will be no more activist permits or different between regions. Everything will be uniform, faster, and more transparent," he said.
Thus, this integration is expected to provide legal certainty, which is legal, while at the same time making it easier for the government to monitor and evaluate medical or health personnel.
