Telegram Releases New Features, Now Can Add Music On Profile

JAKARTA Telegram launched a series of new features to attract more users. Through this update, the WhatsApp competitor focuses on improving the profile display and making stickers.

The main feature that Telegram introduces is Music on Profile. Now, audio files from any chat can be added directly to the user's profile. This feature allows users to display their favorite songs in the stylized bar under the profile photo.

When the user adds a song, Telegram will automatically create a playlist containing previous songs. The process is also easy, users only need to tap the 'Add to Profile' button in the media player or select the track and save it.

Telegram also updated the profile design for Android users. The design used is the result of the Android Telegram Contest which was held last July. The selected design makes the profile slimmer with a scroll animation that previously only existed on iOS.

In addition, Telegram allows users to specify which profile tab will appear first when others see their profile. Users can choose to highlight stories stored or display their prize collections.

For users who like to be creative, Telegram launched a new Mini Sticker App. This application helps users to create custom stickers and emojis, manage sticker packages, or view sticker usage statistics in detail.

With this Mini Sticker App, users no longer need to create and manage their stickers through the @Stickers bot. This will simplify the sticker creation process so that users can be more creative.
