Komdigi Ready To Support Connectivity Infrastructure At People's Schools

JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs, Angga Raka Prabowo, emphasized that Komdigi will help ensure digital infrastructure and connectivity in the People's School Program.

"We will ask for data on the location of the People's School. From there, we can see who already has a network, who doesn't. Komdigi is ready to help ensure its connectivity," said Angga in his official broadcast.

In addition to infrastructure, Angga also said, the Ministry of Communication and Digigi will strengthen public communication by utilizing digital channels so that the wider community knows the benefits of the People's School.

Meanwhile, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Komkomdigi, Ismail, emphasized five forms of support for the digitization of Komdigi for People's Schools, including the provision of internet networks, strengthening public communication, integration of digital platforms and applications, as well as digital training for People's School teachers, and utilizing national data centers for program data management.

We have a digital ecosystem network, including startups and platforms that can be involved. If there is a data need, Komdigi has prepared a national data center program to support the People's School," explained Ismail.

With the support of digitization, the Ministry of Komdigi hopes that the People's School will become an alternative school for the poor as well as an inclusive digital movement for poverty alleviation.

The People's School Program is one of the direct mandates from President Prabowo Subianto to the Ministry of Social Affairs. This program is seen as a real model of the integration of poverty alleviation based on education and community empowerment.
