JAKARTA Google is rolling out a small update on Google Meet that will really help users around the world. Through this update, the presentation view will focus more on the content shared.

As explained in the Google Workspaces update, users will now get a full screen view when presenting. With this change, users can maximize the slide or document displayed.

As long as documents are distributed or presented, the meeting participant tiles or displays will be moved to a slimmer sidebar. For example, when the presentation display dominates the screen, the participant gallery will be made smaller and placed on the right side.

This change does not only apply when users share documents at Google Meet meetings, but also slides, videos, or other media that they want to share. This change was launched to make user activity during online meetings feel smoother.

This update of the Google Meet presentation display has been launched through the Fast Release domain since July 29, 2025. However, a wider launch will take more than two weeks.

Meanwhile, launches through the Scheduled Release domain will begin on August 14. This feature is expected to be seen in a few days and its expansion will take 15 days.

To enable the feature, the user can click the 'Ent to the full screen' button at an active presentation. This feature is available to all Workspace, Workspace Individual, and personal Google accounts.
