JAKARTA - The Ministry of Communication and Digital will present an integrated database, together with relevant Ministries / Institutions and Electronic System Operators (PSE), to provide access to the list of names and accounts indicated by online gambling.
This was conveyed directly by the Director of Electronic Certification and Transaction Supervision of the Ministry of Komdigi, Teguh Arifiyadi at the Press Conference "Agen Against Online Gambling - Film and Technology Collaboration for Community Education" and Nobar Film Agent +62 with DANA.
Teguh said that this database would later contain a list of account numbers, cellular numbers, and other digital identities indicated to be involved in criminal activities, including online gambling.
"We have more than 300-400 thousand criminally indicated accounts, including judol accounts. Now not only accounts, we also have a collection of blacklist cellular numbers. Now this database is accessed by several organizers who cooperate with us," Teguh said on Wednesday, July 3 in Jakarta.
In practice, when a user tries to transfer funds through a platform like e-wallet, the system will provide a warning notification if the transaction's destination is detected as a suspicious account.
"The basis for the notification can be from direct funds, or from our blacklist database," he added.

To date, there have been more than 30 organizers connected to the system. However, Teguh emphasized that this number is still relatively small when compared to the total PSE in the banking and fintech sectors in Indonesia.
In the future, Komdigi is preparing an expansion of the blacklist coverage, not only covering account numbers and cellular numbers, but also NIK, email addresses, to crypto wallet addresses (crypto wallet address).
"Later there will be a NIK, email, crypto address, and it will be connected to a giant database. So the giant database contains any blacklist," he concluded.
