JAKARTA - The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs has signed a Mutual Understanding Memorandum (MoU) with the Ministry of Digital Development, Communication and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, to expand collaboration in the information and communication technology sector.
The Minister of Trade, Meutya Hafid, said that through this collaboration, Indonesia and Russia agreed to form a Special Sub-Committee as the main drivers of joint digital programs, including HR training, technology exchange, and collaborative media content initiatives.
Meanwhile, the Head of BPSDM Komdigi, Bonifasius Wahyu Pudjianto conveyed that the need for human resources with special competencies such as cybersecurity, data center management, and artificial intelligence development (AI) is increasingly pressing along with the rapid growth of the digital industry in Indonesia.
"The data center needs experts related to security, infrastructure. control and maintenance, experts on cyber attack, experts on protection and so on," explained Boni at the Ngopi Bareng Komdigi event on Friday, June 20 in Jakarta.
