JAKARTA - Midtrans, a payment gateway service provider company, part of the GoTo Group, launched the Static QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) feature which can be accessed by all merchants starting May 2025.
Through this feature, merchants who use the Midtrans service can now print QRIS to then display it on websites, social media or in the form of print-outs installed on cashier tables to receive payments from buyers.
The launch of the QRIS static feature is also part of Midtrans support for the payment digitization program in Indonesia launched by Bank Indonesia.
"We are committed to always presenting an easier, safer and faster transaction or payment process, one of which is through the static QRIS feature that we launched this month," said Head of Midtrans, Boan Sianipar.
The steps to enable the Static QRIS Midtrans feature are as follows:
This QRIS static feature complements the pre-existing payment method in Midtrans, namely e-wallet, credit/debit card, and virtual account.
Midtrans continues to be committed to building an inclusive and sustainable digital economy ecosystem in Indonesia through various innovations, as well as making it easier for merchants to offer payment solutions to consumers.
