JAKARTA - Netflix announced on Wednesday 7 May that it plans to overhaul their TV app interfaces as well as introduce artificial intelligence-based search features (AI generative) for the iOS platform. This feature allows users to search for content using everyday languages.

The update comes amid Netflix's efforts to maintain and expand its market share, amid uncertainty and concerns over the potential recession in the United States that could affect consumer purchasing power.

In its TV app update, Netflix will redesign homepages, provide more personal content recommendations, and move search options and "My List" to the top of the interface to make it more accessible.

In addition, Netflix is also preparing to improve its experience in mobile apps in the next few weeks. One of the features to be tested is a vertical feed display featuring show clips and movies, which users can click on to watch the full version.

This new AI-supported search feature allows users to search for content with natural sentences such as, I want a funny and entertaining spectacle.

The English, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, and French versions are automatically generated by the AI. So there may still be inaccuracies in translating, please always see Indonesian as our main language. (system supported by DigitalSiber.id)
