JAKARTA Netflix announced a feature update on its service. This change allows television users in several countries to select from the full list of subtitles and language dubbing available for each show.
The move aims to make Netflix's global catalog more accessible, mainly as nearly a third of Netflix's total viewers come from non-English shows, according to the company's official statement on Wednesday April 2.
The availability of languages in popular series such as 'Squid Game' from South Korea, 'Berlin' from Spain, and the Oscar-winning film All Quiet on the Western Front from Germany has helped these shows attract the attention of international audiences outside their home country.

Netflix reveals that it offers subtitles in 33 languages and dubbing in 36 languages across its catalog. However, the number of available languages still depends on each title of the show.
Previously, television users could only choose from some limited language options. Netflix decided to expand this option after receiving thousands of requests from users each month regarding the availability of languages on certain shows.
This feature was previously available on mobile devices and web browsers, and is now being expanded to television platforms so that more users can enjoy the show in the language of their choice.
