JAKARTA - Entering the 25th year of age, through the CSR Huawei 2025 program, Huawei carries out the distribution of digital food donations and nutritious food for Islamic boarding schools in 16 cities in Indonesia.

The Director of Islamic Boarding Schools of the Directorate General of Islamic Education at the Ministry of Religion, Basnang Said also emphasized the importance of digitization in Islamic boarding schools as a strategic step in realizing the vision of Indonesia Gold 2045.

"This is where the importance of pesantren in educating the nation's life through the education sector. However, the majority of pesantren are in rural areas with limited access to technology and infrastructure. Therefore, digitalization efforts must continue to be carried out as Huawei has done," said Basnang.

Meanwhile, Wijaya Kusumawardhana, Expert Staff of the Ministry of Communication & Digital and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, expressed his appreciation for Huawei's move to strengthen digital literacy in Islamic boarding schools.
