HONOR Reveals New Strategy: Focus On An Integrated AI Device Ecosystem

JAKARTA - At the 2025 MWC Barcelona event, HONOR announced "HONOR ALPHA PLAN", a revolutionary corporate strategy that marks the company's great move to become a global leader in the artificial intelligence (AI)-based device ecosystem.

Through this vision, HONOR will enter an era of new intelligence, as well as invite all industries to collaborate to create an open ecosystem that is mutually beneficial and provides real benefits for all mankind.

"The AI revolution will change the paradigm of the device industry, which changes our productivity, society and culture fundamentally. Let's unite to face the challenges and great opportunities offered by AI technology," said James Li, CEO of HONOR in a statement received on Tuesday, March 4.

This ambitious vision will be divided into three stages. The first stage, the Agectic AI era, begins with the development of smart smartphones. Together with partners, HONOR will break technology boundaries to create new paradigms for devices in the Agectic AI era.

The next stage is the Physical AI era where HONOR will expand the scope of the AI ecosystem, open up industrial boundaries, and create new paradigms for an integrated AI ecosystem.

Finally, the AGI Era (Artificial General Intelligence) where HONOR will open up unlimited human potential and contribute to creating new paradigms for future civilizations.

"Ultimately, we will unlock infinite human potential and create a new paradigm for civilization in the AGI era. We will witness the coexistence between carbon-based life and silicon-based intelligence. This is the reason why we all have to work together to maximize human potential in welcoming the intelligent world," Li explained.

In the event, representatives from Google, Qualcomm, Orange, Telefturchaica, CKH Group, and Vodafone joined Li to turn on tree lights as a symbol of collaboration to develop an AI device ecosystem that will serve every consumer around the world.
