JAKARTA A number of technology companies, from small to large, attended the annual Mobile World Congress (MWC) exhibition, one of which was Google. The company leaked several important things.

One of the topics the company discussed was Project Astra's integration into the Gemini Live feature. Google had announced that it would add live video support while talking to Gemini Live.

This means that as long as the conversation is directly activated, users can activate video support and ask questions directly. This ability will feel like a video call. Google says that this feature will be available at the end of March.

This is good news because Google has announced this capability since holding an annual developer discussion in 2024. The Project Astra preview on Gemini Live also appeared last January when the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series was released.

Video support will be visible once the user activates the Gemini Live feature. Users will see a video icon in the lower left corner. When tapped, the camera will open and users can immediately ask questions about the highlighted object.

Citing from a 9to5google report, the company said that Gemini Live's capabilities would be launched to, "Labin Advanced's customers as part of the Premium Google One AI package." Customers should use Android devices.

In other words, this feature is not yet available on iOS. Google may need more time to present the feature on Gemini Live for iOS-based iPhones. For now, Android users can demonstrate their features at the MWC event.
