JAKARTA - Last November, Google launched the "Saved Info" feature for Gemini Advanced users who subscribe to Google One AI Premium. Now, the tech giant is starting to bring the feature to users for free.

This feature allows Gemini to store various details about the user's life, work, and personal preferences. That way, AI can provide a more relevant response and save time when users type prompts.

For example, if a user wants Gemini to respond with a speech style like a certain celebrity, that preference can be saved so it doesn't need to be repeated every time you type a new prompt.

Although not yet widely available, this feature has started to appear for some free users on gemini.google.com, according to a 9to5Google report. However, there have been no reports that this feature can be used on mobile devices.

If this feature is available to you, the "Saved Info" option will appear in the Settings menu that can be accessed from the left side panel. After entering Settings, the user will find the Saving Info option with a toggle to enable or disable it.

In an internal trial, this feature is considered a major change in Gemini's way of responding, making it more personal and efficient for users.
