Apple Ready To Launch M4 Water MacBook In Coming Weeks

JAKARTA - Apple is reportedly preparing to launch the latest version of the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air powered by the M4 chip. According to a recent report from Mark Gurman (Bloomberg), the company plans to release this device in March 2025.

Rumors about the MacBook Air M4 have actually been circulating for a long time. In fact, references about this device were leaked in beta macOS 15.2 in December 2024, indicating its launch was getting closer.

Gurman also previously mentioned that the MacBook Air is scheduled to release earlier than other spring products, such as the iPhone 16e and iPad Air. However, even though the iPhone 16e has already launched, the latest MacBook Air still hasn't appeared on the market yet.

Now, that situation seems to be changing soon. Gurman reports that Apple is currently preparing marketing and training strategies for the sales and retail teams ahead of the launch of the MacBook Air M4. In addition, MacBook Air stock with M2 and M3 chips is also running low in various stores, which is a strong indication that the latest models will be coming soon.

Apart from using the M4 chip, not many other specification details are known about this MacBook Air. However, some reasonable improvements include Thunderbolt 4 support (replace USB 4/Thunderbolt 3), camera features with the Center Stage, as well as nano-texture screen options. All these improvements have previously been introduced on other Mac devices that use the M4 chip.

With the planned launch in March, Apple fans may not have to wait too long to see if the MacBook Air M4 will bring significant changes or just a minor increase from the previous generation.
