OnePlus 13 Mini Reportedly Present With 6,000 MAh Battery

JAKARTA - OnePlus is reportedly developing smaller-sized smartphones in its product lineup, but still presents a large battery capacity. According to a leak from the Digital Chat Station on Weibo, this small screen device from OnePlus will be the first to reach a battery capacity of 6,000 mAh, it is even possible that the upcoming model will increase to 6,500-7,000 mAh.

The device in question is OnePlus 13 Mini, which is likely to be launched under the name OnePlus 13T. This phone is thought to be based on the Oppo Find X8 Mini, which is expected to be released next month.

In terms of size, OnePlus 13 Mini is estimated to have a screen of about 6.3 inches, much smaller than the flagship of OnePlus 13 which measures 6.78 inches. This size is comparable to Google Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro, which were previously considered one of the best "small" Android phones in 2024.

The success of OnePlus in entering a 6,000 mAh battery into a body as small as this is certainly impressive. In comparison, this capacity is 30% larger than Google Pixel 9, which only has a 4,700 mAh battery. In fact, the Samsung Galaxy S25 which is almost the same size is only equipped with a 4,000 mAh battery.

According to leaks, this increase in battery capacity is not done by making the phone thicker. On the other hand, this is most likely the result of an increase in battery technology. Oppo is reportedly successfully entering a large battery into an ultra-thin Find N5 Foldable body, so a similar method can be used for conventional OnePlus phones.

OnePlus 13 Mini is expected to be launched around April 2025. If this leak is true, this phone could be one of the best battery-resistant compact devices on the market.
