Salesforce released a research by Small & Medium Business Trends, which contains insights from 3,350 SMB leaders spread across 26 countries in terms of implementing artificial intelligence (AI) in their business.
In the study, it was found that 75 percent of MSME players globally claimed to have conducted experiments or have implemented AI in their business.
In Indonesia alone, 77 percent of MSMEs say they have used or experimented with AI. In fact, 97 percent of them admit that the implementation of AI can increase business revenue.

77 percent of MSME leaders in Indonesia consider participating in technological developments to be a big challenge. However, another 29 percent said they did not have enough time to master all the technology used in their business.

"AI agents can independently reach customers and do routine work at the same time, allowing small businesses to act more in the midst of limitations," explained Iman.
Thus, Iman believes that the implementation of AI agents will enable MSMEs to increase labor scalability and be able to compete with large companies.
