Qualcomm Officially Sells On Tokopedia

JAKARTA - The well-known semiconductor company from the United States, Qualcomm Technologies is officially present at one of Indonesia's e-commerce sites, Tokopedia. the company opened a shop under the account name Qualcomm Snaprdragon Mobile Platform.

This official store is the first to be present in the Southeast Asia region, especially since it started by opening a stall in the Tokopedia e-commerce. Shannedy Ong as Qualcomm International's Business Development Director revealed that this action was aimed at expanding his business network in RI.

"The launch of the Snapdragon page on Tokopedia marks another milestone in our journey in Indonesia," said Shannedy through his official statement, Tuesday, March 2.

"We are proud to announce a page to support the ecosystem, from OEM partners to consumers, by presenting a selection of the best Snapdragon-powered devices available on Tokopedia," added Shannedy.

But until now users still don't know what Qualcomm will sell on the Tokopedia. This is because the semiconductor company is known for its chipset products. It is also impossible for the company to sell the most important components of mobile phones at retail.

Apparently, at the official store, Qualcomm is selling a number of phones that use Snapdragon chipsets. At the shop, there is also information about various brands of mobile phones powered by Snapdragon chipsets, complete with specifications.

Qualcomm has partnered with a number of mobile phone manufacturers that are subscribed to its chipsets, namely Nokia, Xiaomi, Samsung, Oppo, Vivo, and Realme. For starters, the new Qualcomm sells a number of Oppo brand phones such as A53, A92, Find X2, Reno4 Pro, Reno 5, and Reno 10x.

Tokopedia itself welcomes the appearance of the Qualcomm Snapdragon Mobile Platform store on its official store list. Fransiscus Leo Chandra from Tokopedia revealed that this is part of the company's innovation in the digital marketing field in order to gain a wider market share through online channels.

"Through this collaboration, we also want the Indonesian people and Snapdragon fans to easily explore more about Snapdragon, and find options for devices powered by Snapdragon," said Fransiscus.
