1. Enter the WhatsApp application

2. Select the Status option which is in the middle, located between the Chats and Calls options

3. The next step is to tap the three dots in the top right corner

4. Then select Status privacy

5. If it has been clicked, 3 more options will appear, namely My contacts, My contacts except ... and Only share with ...

For additional information, if the user selects My contacts, the status will be visible to all the user's WhatsApp contacts. If you select My contacts except ... then the user can display WhatsApp status for all contacts except unwanted people. While the third option is Share only with ... then users can share their status with certain people only, such as with their crush, girlfriend, or someone who is being coached.

6. After the user selects the Only share with ... option, the user only needs to tick certain contacts who can see the status. However, if the user prefers the My contacts option except ..., all that is done is to tick a number of excluded contacts so that they can't see the user's status.
