JAKARTA - Meta is rolling out several feature updates for Reels, which allow users to more easily find and share entertaining content.

The news was announced by the head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri on Wednesday, August 17.

In the video he uploaded, Mosseri said that the three updates include, you can add 'Add your' Sticker on Reels.

Previously, you could only use the Add yours Sticker feature in Stories, but now you can use it in uploading reels on both Meta's platforms.

So whenever you share a new Add Yours prompt, the reels added by others will appear on the page dedicated to that prompt.

The second feature is IG-to-FB Crossposting. With this feature, you can now repost your Instagram reels to Facebook reels.

Meta says that it can help content creators to build their audience on the app and monetize their content on both platforms.

The last feature is Facebook Reels Insight. This Reels Insight will allow the app to collect or compile Facebook Stories that you have previously shared.

This feature is designed to make it easy to share your favorite memories as Reels. Given Meta's increased focus on Reel, it's no surprise that the company wants to encourage users to turn their Stories into Reel.

Meta is currently focusing on developing Reels in its application. Zuckerberg recently noted that Meta makes more than $1 billion per year on Reels ads.
