JAKARTA – A computer scientist from Australia, Craig Wright, once issued a statement that shocked the crypto community. He is the proclaimed creator of Bitcoin using the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto.

In a recent interview with an Australian television station, the computer scientist revealed the reason for using the pseudonym. One of them is for the safety of the family.

“I mean, I have family, I have friends. I have people in high positions in the industry," Wright said, quoted from UToday, August 7, 2022.

On the other hand, Wright has never shown himself to be the owner of the Bitcoin community. The reason is that he has not signed the message with the private key corresponding to the public key or the public key of the first block of Bitcoin to be mined, the Bitcoin Genesis Block.
