JAKARTA - Netflix partnered with Immersive Gamebox, a game, and interactive technology company to create a gaming experience from the popular Korean series, Squid Game.

According to Immersive Gamebox's confession to TechCrunch, the interactive game Squid Game will launch on September 21.

With an interactive digital format, the hour-long Squid Game will have you competing against your friends for survival through six challenges.

If you've watched the previous Squid Game series, surely you already know what games you will be playing, including Red Light, Green Light, Dalgona, Tug of War, Marbles, Glass Bridge, and Squid Game.

Interestingly, with the 3D motion tracking visor and touchscreen, players can enjoy the experience without having to wear bulky headsets.

A multiplayer game can be played by a minimum of two adults with a maximum of six people. The company recommends that players aged 16 and over can participate.

The "Squid Game" experience will be available at all Immersive Gamebox locations across the US and Europe, including Utah, Illinois, Texas, California, Colorado, and Virginia, as well as London and three other places in the UK.

It will also be available at its new location in New York, which just opened. The new venue is on the Lower East Side of New York City at 81 Essex St.

To order the game, players have to pay for tickets that range from 24.99 - 39.99 US dollars or around IDR 370 - 593 thousand.

On the other hand, Netflix also announced in June that a second season of Squid Game would be made, and it would be airing exclusively on its platform.
