Deadalic Entertainment Officially Delays The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum Game Release Until A Few Months Ahead

JAKARTA - Daedalic Entertainment announced the bad news on Twitter. On Monday, July the developer stated that the release of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum would be delayed.

Initially, the developer confirmed that the game will be available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Nintendo Switch version on September 1st, but now it looks like it won't be happening.

"We are dedicated to meeting the expectations of our community and uncovering the untold story of Gollum in a way that honors JRR Tolkien's vision," said the developer.

Not sure what the reason is, but in the announcement, the developer wants to provide the best experience for the players.

"Therefore, in order to provide the best possible experience, we have decided to delay the release of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum by a few months," Deadalic further said.

Daedalic Entertainment promises to provide further updates to its players at an appropriate time in the near future.

Based on the game's description, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, based on the legendary Lord of the Rings trilogy by JRR Tolkien, recounts Gollum's experiences from behind the scenes in the first chapter of The Fellowship of the Rings.
