Following a tweet from the Call of Duty account, a quote from the Steam account seems to have caught a lot of attention from fans of this first-person shooter game. Steam quoted a tweet with an eye emoji, implying that a Steam version of the game is coming soon.

According to Gamingbolt, artwork from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 recently appeared on Steam, leading to rumors that the series might return to the Valve platform for the first time in seven years.

The Call of Duty development team said that the full Worldwide reveal of Modern Warfare 2 will take place on Wednesday, June 8, according to the debut trailer featuring Task Force 141 that was revealed earlier.

Activision recently announced that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2's release date is October 28, 2022. "Task Force 141 is back in a big way with a global troop of iconic veterans," reads the accompanying trailer.
