The silver medal implies that even though Amazon is “the most successful company in the world and has revolutionized two different industries”, its founder Bezos can only rank second on the list of the richest people on Earth.
Previously, when Forbes interviewed Elon Musk for being the richest person in the world, Musk joked that he would "send a giant statue of the number 2 to Jeff Bezos, along with a silver medal."
